New Today

Today I became a Independent Consultant for this company.

I am so excited.

Back at it....

I went to my monthly scraping class and made all these cards.

I am seriously needing to replenish my supply of cards.

We had three women last night with July birthdays. Thank you Michelle

for making the cake.

Mom was 61 when she passed. She fought brain cancer for 16 months. We
are so blessed to have had all the time with her that we did. The world
will be a mcuh lonelier place without her.
Momma will we never forget you!

I apologize

for not keeping up on this site. I have been so busy with my family

and my mom, sometimes I don't know if I am coming or going.

My mom is still with us but she is very tired and told the nurse yesterday she is ready to go.

This makes me sad in a way but I know she is in pain.

Two new cards

This is a make-n-take from my last SU party I attended.

I made this for my 4 yr. old nephew's birthday.

Tuesday

was not a good day for me. My husband was kind enough to let me go to my mom's a day early. I needed that break. My sister is up from Calif. visiting. Always fun to see her.

When I travel to Calif. to visit family we have a few MUST stop in Chico. Jon & Bon's Ice Cream, Windy's Chinese, Hula's, and Burger Hut. Yum Yum.

Fact #22
My favorite bread to make is Pumpkin. I make it using a banana bread recipe but substitute in Pumpkin. It always comes out so moist. When I get home I will add the recipe to this.

I have been sick and was not very good about doing anything. I have not even scrapped.

I have always filed my own taxes. I like doing it. (I love math, maybe that is why.)

I hate my middle name. My siblings were named after family members and I was not. I just have never liked that I have an original name.

My favorite color is Orange. I don't know why but I love it. I have an orange coat, purse, cell phone, socks, you name it. My friend tells me all the time that I need "serious help." I just laugh.

I love photograph. I took a class in college and did learned all kinds of cool ideas. Now with the digital cameras it is even better. My mother has a few of my photos, blown up and on the wall. What a good momma.

I have worked in two National Parks and loved every minute of it. I served food in a cafeteria for 2 summers in Yellowstone, at Old Faithful. I loved it there. What an amazing experience.

I always wanted to travel in Alaska on the train. I want to start in Anchorage and go all the way to Denali. I have seen the travel channel and can't wait to go.

I have a brother who we adopted when he was in his 30's. He was alone in the world and needed a family. My parents are the type who love everyone and my mom opened her arms and brought him in. He is now married to a Wonderful woman and I have the CUTEST neice ever.

My mother was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer (Feb 07) in her speech center and they were not able to remove it. They gave us 6 months and she has now made it a year. I dedicate two days a week to go and take care of her and do all the housework. I love spending that time with her. I pray everyday that we get one more year.

My favorite "All Time" best tv show is Northern Exposure. It was set in Alaska. I always wished I lived somewhere like that.

I applied to the University in Fairbanks, Alaska when I was just graduated and was accepted. I ended up not going because I didn't think I could handle the distance from my family. I wish now I had gone just one year. I could only imagine the experiences I would have had.

Saturday Ramblings.....

Ok so I have been a bad blogger for a few days. I happen to trip over a pile of stuff in my office (kids put stuff away, hahaha) and I hurt my back. We had our Late Night Ladies Night for Scrappin' and I was pretty well not with it for the evening. I was in so much pain that I took some meds and was loopy for the rest of the night. I did manage to make 2 scrapbook pages.

I love to do crossword puzzles. I even subscribe to a puzzle magazine.

I love watches. I have all kinds of different ones. One of my favorites is an M&M watch. I still have watches I collected as a child.

My favorite gifts from my husband has been Black Hills Jewelry. He has done very well in selecting nice pieces. My favorite, so far, has been a ring with my birthstone and my daughters.
